Where is the wedding?

Answer

John's parents have graciously agreed to host both the ceremony and reception at their farm property in Red Wing located near Frontenac State Park.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be outdoors, but a tent and the barn on the property will be used either way. In case of cold, we will have heaters.

Where can I park?

There will be a marked area of the property sectioned off for parking.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

A shuttle will be available and will start pick up at the Country Inn & Suites at 2:30pm and then will head to the St. James Hotel after that. It will depart the reception to bring guests back to town at 11pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail attire for our celebration—but with a prairie-friendly twist if you are inclined! • Feel free to bring layers for warmth as the evening cools. • Practical shoes are encouraged for walking on grass and gravel. • And yes—cowboy boots are absolutely welcome! We want you to feel stylish and comfortable as we celebrate together under the wide prairie sky.

Please see the Travel tab of this website where you will find recommended hotels. Otherwise, there are Airbnb's and VRBO's in the area but they are limited so book soon!
