As most of you know, Tyler and I met on a dating app in March 2023. We matched over our desire to go skydiving (which we did together in October 2023)! We met on a Thursday night at a tapas bar in Tampa and talked non-stop for hours. We bonded over our love for family and friends, travel, snowboarding, football, trying new foods, and adventure. It didn’t take long to realize this wasn’t just any first date. Neither of us wanted the night to end, but we tried to play it cool. That did not last long! We spent the next three days together—getting rained out at a rooftop bar (which led to darts at a hole-in-the-wall spot), followed by a day at the Tampa Bay Aquarium and kayaking the Hillsborough River. Tyler and I quickly realized we had found our forever best friend—especially after Kona, our mini Australian shepherd, gave his stamp of approval. We did what most couples do when they’re crazy about each other: we lived together, but paid two rents. Once our leases ended, Kona and I moved into Tyler’s 650 sq ft apartment for two months until we moved into our rental home. In February 2025, we planned a trip to one of our bucket-list destinations—Whistler, Canada—which ended up being the perfect place for Tyler to propose. Now, as we plan our wedding, we would love nothing more than to vacation with you in Tulum, Mexico. The most important thing to us is time with family and friends, and we can’t wait to celebrate our love with our favorite people.
