Flight
There are a few ways to get to Florence that we recommend! 1. Fly into Florence connecting through another airport (i.e. Rome, Milan, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, etc.) The airport is only a 15-20 minute drive from the city center, and a cab is about 30 euros. 2. Fly into Rome, Milan, or Venice, and take the train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. This train station is in the city center. 3. Fly into Pisa or Bologna and take the bus to Florence. The bus ride from Pisa is 1.5 hours and the bus ride from Bologna is 1.75 hours. You can purchase bus tickets online in advance or when you arrive at the airport of your destination.
