Jodi & Scotts Travel Dates - 2/5/22-2/16/22

We will be leaving Charlotte and checking into our Florida hotel on Saturday, February 5th. Our check out day is Wednesday, February 16th. Please check the Schedule tab of this website to see where we will be each day and which days there are special wedding things you might like to be a part of.

I'm flying to Orlando, how do I get to my hotel?

As of 2022 Disney has disbanded the Magical Express free shuttle transportation (boo!!) We are keeping updated with this as the months progress. If they reinstate it we will let you know as this is a GREAT and *free* way to get to your Disney resort hotel. For now, the best way to get to any hotel or Air B&B you are staying at from the airport is to utilize Uber or Lyft. Scott and Jodi have used Uber TONS of times in the area. Its cheap, quick and reliable. If you have never used a ride share service feel free to text or call us for a quick run down on how to do it!

Getting around Disney Property

In non-wedding cases a quick google search will yield the easiest ways to get from point A to point B. Cast members are also eager to help you get to where you need to go! For example try googling "How do I get from Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort to Magic Kingdom?" Every Disney Resort will have free bus transportation to all 4 parks and Disney Springs. Some resorts will have boat, monorail, and/or Skyliner transportation as well! Tips: - Always allow at least an hour to get to your destination when using Disney's Transportation. - No buses travel from resort to resort. Other forms like boat and skyliner do though. We like to grab an Uber to go from resort to resort for things like a late dinner (runs around $12). - Don't worry about transportation too much! It may seem like a lot but we promise its very easy to get around the area!

Should I rent a car/drive?

We would rent a car or drive if : - you plan to stay outside the "Disney Bubble" off property / not at a Disney Resort Hotel and are staying an extended amount of time - don't want to Uber/Lyft to and from the Wedding Day location (its off Disney Property) - don't want to use Disney buses, boats, monorail & skyliner to get to the parks & other resorts - want to be able to come and go as you please for other vacation plans (Universal Studios, Beach etc.) - are traveling with lots of cargo - flying is an issue/ its easier for your family to drive than to fly tips: - There is a cost to park at the Disney World Parks if you are not staying at a Disney Resort. - Scott and Jodi use Uber all the time in Orlando. Its fast, inexpensive, they drop you right off at the front of resorts or parks and we don't have to pick who has to drive! - Anyone can visit any Disney resort with a dining reservation. They will allow you to park for up to 2 hours for free at a resort for your dining reservation.
