Question

Do I detect a theme for this shindig / What should I wear?

Answer

We're going tiki for our big day! We bonded over a love of the fun and funky kitsch of tiki and think it really represents us as a couple! Feel free to add to the aesthetic by dressing up in your finest retro, kitschy and tropical finery! We're going for a mixture of Mid-Century Modern, Late 50s - Early 60s with a splash Disney. Think wiggle dresses, Hawaiian shirts, anything tropical you feel puts you in that retro tiki mood! Keep it classy though, its a wedding and Scott will be upset if someone shows up in a matching coconut bra! ;) A lot of us think of February as a cold month, its a little bit different down in Orlando. Temps should range in the 50s-70s (so BEAUTIFUL!) and its one of the dryer months for them. Keep an eye on the weather down there while you're packing. We feel pretty confident you'll only need a light jacket in the evening though.

Question

Whats the Epcot Snack Around the World route?

Answer

France Morocco Japan The American Adventure Italy Germany China Norway Mexico Canada United Kingdom

Question

Can I have an adult vacation at Disney?

Answer

Yes! Scott and Jodi, and many other people in the world enjoy Disney without children! Disney caters to Families, couples and individuals.

Question

What if I'm not interested in Disney at all?

Answer

That's okay! There are lots of things to do in the Orlando area that aren't covered in pixie dust (though you wont find a churro every 15 feet! and if you've never been to Disney we strongly urge you to give it a try, it really is a magical place!) I like rides but.... Check out Universal Orlando! Its got super heros, The Simpsons, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! The rides are a lot more extreme over there too! No parks please... We gotchu! Golf - Walt Disney World Golf Courses https://www.golfwdw.com/ Shingle Creek https://www.shinglecreekgolf.com/ Falcons Fire https://www.falconsfire.com/ and many more! Beaches- Cocoa Beach (about 65 miles/ 70 minutes away) Clearwater (92 miles/1.5 minutes away) And more! Shopping - Disney Springs https://www.disneysprings.com/ Universal's CityWalk https://www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us/theme-parks/citywalk

Question

What hotel is everyone staying at?

Answer

Scott and Jodi are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, quite a few others have booked there as well. Quite a few people have found Air B&Bs nearby. Any place that's good for you will work!

Question

Where is the actual wedding located?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are being held on beautiful Lake Bryan's Paradise Cove located about 1 mile away from the Disney Property.

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony is outside and the reception will be inside.

Question

I can't make it :(

Answer

We will miss you! Please update your RSVP as soon as you can; either here or by calling or texting Jodi or Scott, this way we have an accurate count on numbers and can plan accordingly!

Question

Are kids welcome? Plus ones?

Answer

Kids are very welcome! Plus ones are welcome so long as they aren't a surprise! (i.e. make sure you RSVP for the number of people in your party please)

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We do not! Disney website deals tend to be a better deal than a room block. We also recommend renting Disney Vacation Points (DVC) for deep discounts on Disney rooms. Local resorts are amazing and many offer transportation to the parks and have great amenities like pools and lazy rivers at a fair cost. Air B&B have great options at all price points as well!

Question

What is the RSVP deadline? Can I RSVP online?

Answer

Please RSVP by Monday December 4th, 2021. You can RSVP by mailing in your RSVP card or online on this site under the RSVP tab.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

There's a registry tab on this website but you'll notice that there's not much on it. We would love to be able to have a wonderful wedding vacation and celebrate with you, that is gift enough! If you are feeling particularly generous we have set up a fund on the registry page that allows you to contribute to our magical week! Funds will go towards the week of celebration for things like being able to celebrate a little longer with you, adding some tiki magic in the bar or laughing about last nights dance moves over brunch the next morning. Celebrating and getting to spend time with you means more to us than anything we could register for at target.

Question

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony we ask that you please limit having your phone or camera up and out so we can see your beautiful faces in our pictures and not your phones. Feel free to take and post as many at the reception as you like! Tag them with #TheOsbornesGoTiki so we can keep track of all the amazing pictures you take!

Question

I still have questions!
