There will not be a shuttle to and from the airport, ceremony, or reception. The airport, hotels, and wedding events are all within about 10 to 15 minutes of each other. We recommend using Lyft/Uber or renting a car at the airport. There is some more information available on the travel tab. As people RSVP we will try to connect people for ride sharing.
3:00PM: The ceremony is in Greenfield Lake Park immediately across from 1844 W Lake Shore Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401. Arrive before 3PM. 4:00PM: The reception is at 817 Morningside Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401. Carole and Glenn Ellzey are graciously hosting a casual backyard reception immediately after the ceremony. More details are available in the "Schedule" page of the website.
Please no pets. The wedding is kid friendly and plus-ones are allowed. Please let us know if you're bringing additional people (not already on the RSVP), so we can provide the appropriate amount of food, drinks, and seats.
Theme & Colors: Forest Wildflower - Fern and Moss greens and Spring oranges, purples, and pinks. Semi-Formal - Suits and cocktail dresses in theme colors are encouraged. Tuxes, gowns, or your best casual are also welcome. The ceremony and reception are outdoors. Check Wilmington weather before you leave, March could be sunny or it could rain. It will likely be around 65 - 70 during the day and cool in the evenings, so make sure you have a jacket for the evening.

We are flying home after the wedding so we would prefer gifts be shipped to Washington. Please view the registry tab of this page for ideas and shipping details. Our primary desire is to see and spend time with you all. Gifts are not expected, but of course are greatly appreciated.

The weather is typically around 65 degrees this time of year with a 25% chance it could rain. Bring a rain jacket in case of cool weather and rain. It will likely be around 70 during the day and a cool 50 in the evening. Check the weather before you pack your bags. We have canopies in case of bad weather.
Ceremony: We recommend parking on the street on Carolina Avenue or at the Greenfield Lake boat launch Reception: We recommend parking on the street on 817 Morningside Dr You can park at 817 Morningside Dr, where the reception will be held, and walk to the ceremony. The walk is 1 mile and takes about 20 - 30 minutes depending on your walking speed. We will be walking back from the ceremony to the reception.

Yes: Beer, wine, batch cocktails, and some spirits/mixers will be provided. You are welcome to bring additional items to share or have for yourself.
There are a lot of ways to help. Friday we will be doing food prep and set up. Saturday there is more setup, cooking, setting up and moving chairs, dishes/cleanup. Monday will be tear down and cleanup. Help is not required or expected. It's most important to us that we get to see you and spend time with you and that you get to explore Wilmington a bit.
