How to RSVP

Answer

You can RSVP by clicking on the RSVP tab of this website and typing in your name. We understand the venue location requires a lot of travel for many guests and attendance may not be possible for everyone. If you are unable to join we completely understand. We are grateful for the love and support, and look forward to celebrating with you another time! We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture the special day and would love to share photos and the wedding video with anyone unable to attend.

Are Kids Allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we have chosen for our wedding to be adults-only, with the exception of a couple kids who are close to us. This will be reflected in the RSVP profiles. If there are any questions, or if you need sitter recommendations in Bemidji, please reach out to the bride or groom. You can also email rachel.izaak.olson@gmail.com

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. Your RSVP profile will show if someone is attached to your invitation. If you feel we left out someone important, please reach out to one of us.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/Dressy casual. We recommend a summer dress or blouse and skirt for the ladies. The venue requires walking on grass and a rocky pathway, so comfortable shoes or thicker heels recommended. For the men, summer dress clothes, please no jeans :) We ask that you avoid wearing white. Bridesmaids will be in a light dusty sage.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend you arrive between 4 and 4:15pm as the ceremony will start at 4:30pm. The bridal party will be taking photos before 4pm so please try not to be too early!

Ways to get to and from the wedding?

Answer

- Utilize the free shuttle service that will pick you up from either hotel we have a block on, and take you to the wedding venue. Blocks are: Double Tree Hilton (pick up time is 3:30pm) and Best Western (pick up time is 3:45pm), see the travel and hotels tab for more details. The free shuttle will also make multiple trips back to the two hotels at 9pm, 10pm, 11pm or midnight, so guests have the option what time they want to leave. - Drive and park at the wedding venue - Call an Uber or Taxi from anywhere in Bemidji, MN *see the travel page for more information

Where to park and is there a fee?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking at the venue. ***Please note if you leave your car at the venue over night it must be moved by 10am on Saturday

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors but the reception is indoors. Please check the weather and dress accordingly

Am I allowed to take pictures at the wedding?

Answer

We have paid for a professional photographer and videographer to capture the special day. We ask you turn off or silence your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. Professional photos will be shared on social media and upon request following the wedding. Once the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!

Will there be meal options for dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We are having a buffet style dinner, so hopefully everyone will be able to compile a meal that will make them happy. When you RSVP you can add any dietery restrictions so that we can work with the caterer to make sure there will be something for everyone!
