Casual
Obviously everyone was affected by the pandemic in one way or another. We decided to postpone our original ceremony to 2021, but still had a small, intimate ceremony on our original wedding date. This year we will have the opportunity to have all of our family and friends able to attend the wedding that we originally planned. We will be renewing our vows and celebrating our first year of marriage. We hope you can join us and are so excited to see you all there!
ABSOLUTELY! We want everyone to enjoy and remember our day. We plan to have outside games for everyone to have something to do!
In September in Central Washington it will be quite warm with a cool breeze coming off the Cascades in the evening for Cle Elum. Make sure to dress appropriately for the heat, stay hydrated and stay cool. The barn will have swamp coolers to provide cooler air and shade. The ceremony will take place outside in direct sunlight, weather permitting. With the surrounding mountains, natural shade will be available.
ASAP! With larger crowded events returning there is a possibility we will find ourselves sharing this weekend with the 2021 Ellensburg Rodeo, which causes hotels to be booked to capacity. Don’t forget there are other options such a camping at the venue or booking a place with VRBO or Air BnB.
You likely won’t find an Uber or Lyft, but there are some local taxis that may be available. We recommend staying on the property or having a designated driver, but choose the safest option. Drink responsibly and drive safe if you choose to.
When filling out your online RSVP, please let us know your dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate. If you are allergic to peanuts and/or tree-nuts, do not worry since Hannah is also allergic so precautions will be taken.
We kindly ask that guests do not wear a mask or face covering so we can see everyone’s beautiful faces. However, guests are still welcome to wear a mask if preferred.
The DJ will be leaving at 10:30pm. We have the entire venue to ourselves for the night which is why we encourage camping, but the venue requires everyone to be off of the property by 8:00am Sunday.
