Here you will find flight options, hotel recommendations, rental car and shuttle information. This information is merely a suggestion, you are more than welcome to research other options before arriving to the island. Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian islands - Central Maui (Kahului & Wailuku) Leeward Side: - South Maui (Kihei, Wailea & Makena) - West Maui ( Olowalu, Lahaina, Kaanapali & Kapalua) Windward Side: - North Shore (Paia & Haiku) - East Maui (Keanae, Hana & Kipahulu) South Maui will be a little bit more expensive than West Maui. The North Shore and East Maui will be more remote, secluded locations. We will be getting married in Olowalu. We recommend staying in either Lahaina or Kihei. Kahului Airport (OGG)

We recommend flying into this airport, it’s about a 40 minute drive from Lahaina but there is a Costco just around the corner and plenty of food options. The other airport is Kahului but I think that is only for inter-island travel.

We recommend booking a car rental reservation prior to coming to the island. If you're looking to make a vacation out of your stay in Maui you're definitely going to want a car to explore and get around. Looking through Expedia can help you find deals at any rent-a-car place. Right now there is a HUGE car shortage, the islands are having a hard time keeping up with the demand since travel is back on so prices are really high right now. They are expecting to catch up eventually so please make sure you keep an eye out for any deals
