FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation specifies "and Guest" then you are free to bring a +1. Please do not show up with a plus one, we have a capacity limit from our venue and they will not be able to attend

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please click the 'RSVP' tab on the website in the top right to unlock your invite. You will be able to RSVP for yourself, plus one or family

Question

When should I be on the island?

Answer

We are having a Welcome Party on Wednesday, June 8th at the beach if you like to attend but if that’s not in your plans you can fly in on Thursday, June 9th.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please checkout our travel information tab. Our wedding coordinator has provided a discount code for Aston Properties - use code 'PERFECT'

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While we recommend Uber or shuttling to the venue, there are about 30 spaces right in front of the Plantation house.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! You can find the dress code in our 'Schedule' tab. We do understand that this is a beachfront wedding and we want all our guests to be comfortable. Please note that the Ceremony and Reception will take place outside.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will start at 4:15 PM. Please arrive between 3:50-4:00 PM so our Wedding Coordinator can get everyone seated before the ceremony starts. Plan accordingly as Uber/Shuttle services may be slower on the island

Answer

Yes, right after the ceremony there will be a few light bites and cocktails

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! We encourage everyone to use #thenewvasu on their trip out to the island or in any photos posted. Please note that we will be having an unplugged ceremony

Yes! Click on the ‘Registry’ tab in the menu bar to check it out.
