While we love all of your children, due to size limitations at our venues our celebration will be adults only (with the exception of our son and nieces/nephews.) If we're able to accommodate your children, we have already been in touch with you.
We will coordinate transportation from a few hotel locations - more details to follow.
Cocktail attire is appropriate! Our ceremony will be held on a grassy area overlooking the ocean, so please wear appropriate footwear. Our reception will be outdoors and it does get chilly at night, so you may want to bring a light jacket.
We will be hosting an informal welcome party for our out-of-town guests the night before the wedding - details have been provided in the invitations. We'd love to spend more time with our friends and family after the wedding; we'll be coordinating an activity for Saturday for those who want to join. Additional details forthcoming.
Parking is extremely limited at both the ceremony and reception sites (street parking only.) We encourage guests to leverage the shuttles we will be providing from hotels, or please use Lyft/Uber.
The Wedding Bowl is approximately half a mile from Darlington House (about a 10 minute walk.) There will be 20 minutes or so between the ceremony and reception; we encourage you to walk if you’d like, but we will also be providing a shuttle between the two locations.
If you’re planning on extending your stay and exploring San Diego, you may want to rent a car. They’re easily accessible from the Rental Car Center at the airport. Otherwise, Uber and Lyft are great options for getting around the area.
