What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. We recommend you arrive by 4:45 p.m. in order to give yourself time to find a seat.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather-permitting, the ceremony will be held in an open field at Triple J Farm in Catawba, Va. Once the ceremony is over, guests will head to the nearby barn for the reception.

What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
We're requesting a semi-formal or "dressy casual" dress code for the wedding. The ceremony will take place in a grassy area while the reception will be held inside a barn. Block heels or wedges are recommended over stilettos.

What type of food and drink will be served during the reception?
Answer
For the reception dinner, we'll be having BBQ from Rocky Mount Smokehouse.

Where should we stay?

There are numerous hotels to choose from in the Roanoke/Salem area. We have a block at Fairfield Inn & Suites Roanoke Salem. These rooms are reserved for you to book by Sept. 3, 2024.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
Our lovely photographer, Kayla Elise, will be taking photos throughout the wedding ceremony. Please relax and enjoy the moment, and we’ll share these images with everyone after the celebration. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!
