PASSPORT: A passport is required for travel to Italy. Make sure your passport is up to date and will remain valid for at least 6 months after your planned return date. If you don’t have a passport or need to renew it, please apply as soon as possible to avoid any delays. TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION: Starting in mid-2025, U.S. citizens traveling to Italy may need to complete an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) form before departure. While not a visa, this form will be required for entry into Italy. Keep an eye on updates as your travel date approaches!

Florence typically has mild spring weather with daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to low 60s°F. Nights can be cooler, with temperatures dropping into the 40s°F. While the weather is generally pleasant, there may be occasional raining. We recommend packing layers, a light jacket, and an umbrella.
