We cannot wait to celebrate with you! PLEASE note the wedding will be held in 2026, not 2025, in order to give everyone enough time to accommodate being able to make the journey. Also note, this is a very non-traditional wedding, so please read all tabs thoroughly.

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brittany Kukowski and Ryan Langmead
Please read these commonly asked questions in order to better understand the plans for the wedding. If these do not answer your questions, please reach out to Brittany.
Question

What can I expect from this wedding? What's the theme?

Answer

Think of this more as a party than a wedding. We technically will already be married, we just want to hold more of a celebration to share with our loved ones. We will have the whole "ceremony" so everyone can witness us profess our love to another... but this will likely not be like any wedding you've been to! Think of a very relaxed, back-yard vibe type of wedding, where tradition is not to be followed!

Question

How do I RSVP if I am not sure I can/want to come by the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please just be honest with us! We cannot stress enough to please not be the person that RSVPs you will be in attendance and then doing a no-show. We understand things happen, so just be in communication with us. We carefully selected who to invite and had to cut tens of people and chose to invite you; if you don't want to make the effort or pay to come, we understand, but just RSVP you will not be in attendance so we can invite someone else for your (very expensive) seat, versus having it empty and missing out on an opportunity for another loved one to share our day with us. No hard feelings will be held and we will celebrate with you at another time!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you received a save the date for you and your partner, that is your plus one. If you were given only one save the date, unfortunately we do not have room for you to bring an additional person, as we are already over capacity and need to limit any additional people. Your RSVP will also have further info on if you have a plus one or not, and is anticipated to be sent out before the completion of the year 2025.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unless you have previous permission from Ryan & Brittany, unfortunately space does not allow for any additional children. Extra time has been allotted to arrange accommodations for this reason.

Question

Can I bring my pet?

Answer

At the actual wedding, unfortunately not. There is a max capacity for pets at this event space, and it has already been met. If you are able to bring your pet and leave them at your hotel room, then you are more than welcome!

Question

What can I bring?

Answer

Just yourselves! Individuals in the wedding party will be helping coordinate things for a smooth transition down to Tennessee, so please don't worry about bringing anything else. If Ryan or Britt want you to bring something specific of you, they will reach out.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

When it says "none" for the dress code on the invite, we mean you wear what you want! We don't care if you're wearing jeans and a t-shirt, or if you want to show up wearing full out glam with feathers and 6-inch heels, we just want you to be comfortable and enjoy your time.

Question

How do I get down there? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Please visit the "travel" tab in our website. It goes into detail about how to get to the wedding, with several different options. Provided transportation is TBD, and will be updated as time gets closer.

Question

What day exactly is the wedding? Should I or can I come down earlier?

Answer

The actual wedding day is May 30, 2026. Ryan and I will be there May 28th to start setting up and getting ready for everyone else's arrival. The wedding party and other guests that want to come early will be arriving on May 29th, to share a special night before the wedding day and to also help set everything up for the big day. We are not checking out until June 1st, to give us and extra day to clean and take everything down... and recover from the night before. You are more than welcome to extend your stay and help as well... you know what they say, more hands make less work! Ultimately, you have free range to arrive and leave whenever you would like!

Question

Is my lodging provided?

Answer

If you are outside of immediate family/wedding party, unfortunately not. We would love to be able to provide lodging for everyone, but we cannot afford to do so. Budget-friendly options are posted in the "travel" section of our website.

Question

Will I be fed?

Answer

The day of the wedding, of course you will be fed. However, it is up to you to be able to find/make food for the other days you plan on staying in Tennessee, if you are choosing to come down for longer than just the day of the wedding.

Question

Why Tennessee?

Answer

We chose Tennessee because we didn't want only one side of our combined families to have to travel (New Mexico family vs. Wisconsin family), and wanted somewhere approximately in the middle to both locations so it was also fair for both sides. (We found places in Colorado and Illinois, but then we might as well have kept it at one of our home states). Britt also wanted a venue that could double as somewhere for the wedding party and for immediate family to stay over with them, to have a one-in-a-lifetime sleepover experience with our newly combined families. Several places that could serve as both were out of the budget, but Copperhill Cabins was able to make all of these dreams into a reality!
