Waikiki Beach
Waikiki beach is O'ahu's main tourist area. There are plenty of opportunities for dining, entertainment, and shopping in the area.
Diamond Head
Diamond Head is an iconic volcanic formation that serves as the backdrop over Waikiki. Hiking to the summit is a popular activity for visiting tourists, giving onlookers a gorgeous view of O'ahu's southern shore.
Koko Head
For those looking for a more challenging hike, Koko Head consists of 1000+ railroad track 'steps' with a sharp incline. Although not for the faint of heart, hikers who reach the top will be rewarded with some of the most breathtaking views O'ahu has to offer.
Kaneohe Sandbar
If you are looking for a water excursion, check out the Kaneohe Sandbar Tours. This sandbar and the surrounding coral reefs are the perfect place for snorkeling, playing beach volleyball, and enjoying views of the Koolau Mountains.
Manoa Falls
There are several waterfalls across O'ahu, but lying about a 30 minute drive away from Waikiki is the scenic Manoa Falls. Visitors will also need to embark on a 45 minute hike once there, but upon arriving at the 150 foot waterfall you can enjoy a dip in the small natural pool with the beautiful rainforest backdrop.
Hanauma Bay
Open Wednesday through Sunday, Hanauma Bay State Park offers many attractions mainly geared towards snorkeling. Snorkelers will need to make a reservation online prior, but those lucky enough to go can enjoy the pristine marine ecosystem and stunning natural coral reefs.
