Why is there an intermission between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is a four-hour gap between the ceremony and reception to allow the couple and guests time to relax between events. Guests are welcome to use this time as they please; we simply ask that everyone returns to the venue by 5 PM for the reception.

Traditional Indian wedding guest attire is encouraged, or semi-formal attire. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing red.

Answer

Black-tie optional or traditional Indian wedding guest attire. Dark suits are encouraged for men (no tuxedos necessary), and formal dresses or gowns for women. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white.

Will there be lunch after the ceremony?

Yes, small plates and hors d’oeuvres will be served after the ceremony.

We request our guests to please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to each event.

Due to a limited guest count, this is an adult only event unless your invitation specifically lists children as guests.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

This will be an entirely outdoor day of events, including the ceremony and reception. We kindly suggest bringing a light coat for the evening if needed. Outdoor heaters will be available.
