This hike is located within the Usery Mountain Regional Park. It’s about 3 miles total and takes around 2 hours. We’ve done this hike several times! The entrance fee to the park is $7 per vehicle.
This is a short, 0.5 mile trail that gives a great view of the city. Our favorite time to hike it is in the evening to watch the sunset. There is loose gravel, so tennis shoes are recommended.
This is another great hiking trail and it’s also where we got engaged in February 2025. The trail entrance is across the street from the parking area.

If you’re looking for something indoors, this aviation museum is popular in our house. It is located just south of the airport where Griffin has done flight training. The museum is open from 10:00am - 4:00pm Wednesday-Saturday.
