Flight
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) We recommend flying into the Nice Airport due to its proximity to our destination. - 25m drive to the venue - 15m drive to city center Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) Most major cities will have direct flights to Nice; however, for a cheaper alternative, we also recommend flying into Paris for a short (or long!) layover and taking a budget airline into Nice or traveling by train.
Train
Travelling by train is a great idea for those wishing to see other areas of France or Italy! There are three train stations in Nice, France: - Nice St-Augustin is near the airport on the west side of the city. - Nice-Ville is in the center of the city. - Nice Riquier is on the east side of the city near the port. A few notable direct routes to alternative airports - Paris to Nice: 5h50 Lyon to Nice: 4h30 Marseilles to Nice: 2h30 Toulon to Nice: 1h50
Rental Car
While travelling by car is a great way to see several areas and different towns along the French Riviera, a car is not necessary for the wedding festivities. Nice has great local transportation via trams, trains, and buses within the town and to surrounding areas. We also recommend the best way to see the city is by foot! For longer distances and convenience, Ubers and Bolts are also readily available.
