We also suggest a walking food tour or walk around town to try some of the local Niçoise delicacies like socca (chickpea pancake), pissaladière (onion tart with anchovies), salade niçoise (a fresh salad), ratatouille (a vegetable stew), and pan bagnat (a sandwich version of salade niçoise). For a unique local specialty, try the tourte de blettes, a sweet or savory Swiss chard pie.
