Portland Attractions

The Wedding Website of Dina Sage and Jonathan Joseph
Here's the scoop on our favorite town: Downtown and most of the tourist attractions are on the West side but we highly recommend you venture to Portland's East side. With its great walkable neighborhoods, the East side is the heart of the city and the center of Portland's quirky charm. Portland is divided into 4 quadrants - Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest. The Willamette River divides the East side from the West side and Burnside Street divides the North side from the South side. Below are our recommendations for things to do.

Northwest String Summit (Special Event)

Horning's Hideout, North Plains, OR

Music festival all weekend long featuring a great lineup of bluegrass, Americana and string bands. One-day, two-day and three-day passes available include camping. About half an hour from Portland proper.

Tea Fest (Special Event)

Sample tea from local vendors and witness a traditional tea ceremony in beautiful Washington Park. All day Saturday. $12 a person.
