Once upon a Friday night at a hometown bar called The Doghouse... Kristianna showed up to fifth wheel a date with her friend, her friend's boyfriend (Zac's roommate), Zac... and his date. Lucky for her (and unlucky for the other girl), his date never showed up. A few drinks, some rounds of pool, and a whole lot of banter later, she realized being a "fifth wheel" was just her cover story for meeting the love of her life.

Our first date wasn't exactly low key - Zac scored an invite to a millionaire's house for a wine tasting party. Nothing says "no pressure" like sipping on Cabernet in a mansion while trying to sound like we know the difference between "fruity" and "fermented grape juice." Somehow, we pulled it off and even took 2nd place in the wine competition. Turns out our best pairing that night wasn't the wine, it was each other.

She had a gut feeling all week that something big was about to happen, and sure enough, he told her he was taking her on a date in downtown Indy, because he had "lost a bet" between us. (Sure... she totally believed that). Her friends conveniently jumped in to make sure her hair, nails, and outfit were on point - shoutout to the best friends ever. He planned to go to what we thought was a nice Italian lunch spot on the canal, but turns out it was a tiny grab and go that just happened to serve Italian food. After laughing through that curveball, we walked down the canal (do not recommend in heels btw), where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Spoiler alert: she said yes.

Life these days looks a little like chaos and a whole lot of love. We live in the small farm town of Sheridan, IN alongside our corgi mix, Wrigley, and our 4 cats - Mallow, Ducky, Alani, and Hopper - who are spoiled enough to get stroller rides on our neighborhood walks. Between real estate and medical sales (and planning a wedding of course), life keeps us busy, but our favorite moments are the simple ones: grabbing drinks at our favorite local spots, spending time with friends and family, and coming home to our little crew every night. It may not always be glamorous, but it's ours - and we wouldn't change it for anything.
