Question

How can I get to Leavenworth?

Answer

You can fly into the Seattle airport (SEA), or the regional airport in Wenatchee (EAT). Leavenworth is about two hours east of Seattle, without traffic. The drive is beautiful, so if you have time to explore the city and make the drive, we would recommend it! Please note: traffic will be heavy returning to Seattle from Leavenworth on a Sunday in the summer, and can easily add 30+ minutes to travel time. Please plan accordingly and make sure you have enough time to drive back for your flights home! Please see the travel page for more info!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please wear clothes. We are unfortunately not in No Shoes Nation. Otherwise, cocktail attire/summer wedding clothes would probably help you blend in the most. Note - it will be hot in Leavenworth in July (90s and breezy) however there's little to no humidity.

Question

Are there any other planned activities?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Schedule" tab at the top of the website for a general sense of where the bride, groom, and wedding party will be most days! There is zero obligation to join in, but you are more than welcome to, and we hope you do!

Question

Who is all going?

Answer

We are inviting our closest friends and family, including those of different ethnicities, religions, and that identify LGBTQ+. Many of these individuals are our dearest friends and are in the wedding party. Please be sure to stay kind to your neighbor, and help us celebrate our marriage with love, acceptance and inclusivity.

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

We certainly want everyone to feel safe while celebrating our marriage, and know there is no way to predict what will happen come July. We encourage everyone to make sure you follow your state's protocols to travel, and we completely understand you may not feel comfortable coming to the ceremony given the pandemic. For the ceremony and reception, we will be following Washington's protocols and mask mandates. More information will be posted closer to the ceremony. Above all, stay safe and well!
