Where Tiff & Vanessa met: When they first met in 8th grade, the two were testing the friendship waters, then became inseparable in 9th grade at VHS #hiphopforever. Vanessa's favorite memory with Tiff: From home music videos freshmen year to prom senior year, Tiff has always been the ride or die chick. One of the best was when Vanessa surprised Tiff at her sorority house in San Jose for Halloween weekend. Tiff was so shocked, she opened the door, immediately froze, then burst into excitement once she realized she wasn't dreaming! What Tiff means to Vanessa: Tiff is a voice of reason, reminding you to always go with your gut. Her vivacious, creative view on life shines through & inspires everyone around her. Where Steph & Vanessa met: The OG Plum Canyon days, not sure if it was at recess trading lunchables or after school kickin' it at the Perezs'. Vanessa's favorite memory with Steph: The two's summer 2019 trip to Boston and Cape Cod, MA to explore a new city & of course visit Grandma & Grandpa Girard, has to be the winner. After a Red Sox game they hit one of the famous bars in downtown & they stole the show...with their leg limbo! What Steph means to Vanessa: "Sis" since 3rd grade, Steph & Vanessa spent nearly every winter, 5 years in a row, in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara together with their grandparents. Steph was one very special person that Vanessa confided in w/everything; she was family her & even to Vanessa's family from the very beginning. After 16 years, they are stuck for life. ♥

Where The Couple met Kristen: Well did Nick really have a choice? Nick introduced Vanessa to his sister the summer after they began dating & took them to a little café in Danville, Sideboard. They hit it off instantly over a glass of vino, no surprise! The Couple's Favorite Memory with Kristen: When sis visited them in San Diego, they danced in PB until 2am, destroyed late night burritos, and snuggled up in Nick's queen bed, K & V subtlety kicking him off the edge! What Kristen Means to The Couple: Kristen embodies kindness and genuinity. Her ability to connect with anyone and make anyone on the planet feel special is unmatched. She has opened her arms & heart to Vanessa from the second they met, what more could Nick ask for: to see some of his favorite women share a bond of their own. ♥

Where Nick & Nate met: It still remains a mystery. Either it was at Montair Elementary on the kick-ball court where or on a party-bus to Shoreline Amphitheater. Nick's Favorite Memory with Nate: While there are too many to count, Nick and Nate were recently in Hawaii where they ventured off to the Waimano Falls Trail. When they got lost on the trail, they got the opportunity to play hero and save their damsels in distress - no biggie. What Nate means to Nick: Nate is someone that Nick has always admired and looked up to for his relentless pursuit of joy, empathy and compassion, and commitment to those he loves. And, most of all, Nate has taken Vanessa in like family of his own. He will always be a brother of Nick's and an extension to the Milsner Family.

Where Nick & Daniel met: Unlike with Nate, Nick was fortunate enough to have a few additional years before crossing paths with Daniel. They met in middle school and still occasionally go back and forward on whether or not it was the right decision. Nick's Favorite Memory with Daniel: When Daniel and Nick were in high school, they performed in the GQ talent show segment together. For weeks, Daniel and Nick practiced traditional Haka and Hula dance with the school's Vice Principle. Who knows, they might even whip out the coconut bras at the wedding. What Daniel Means to Nick: When it comes to family, Nick thinks of the people that allow him to not have to compromise who he is as a person. Daniel is like family to Nick, motivating him to always be the truest version of himself.

Where Nick & Keenan met: Keenan and Nick actually met on both the basketball court and baseball field at an early age. Keenan was on the Cubs team that crushed Nick's dreams of a Little League championship. Nick is still salty. Nick's Favorite Memory with Keenan: The two have shared a lot of great memories, but Nick is going to go back to the well. In high school, Nick and Keenan were on the same Nerf war team. Their target for the week was on a date at the local skating rink when Nick and Keenan came out of nowhere and basically crushed their evening, sorry Jillian. What Keenan Means to Nick: Keenan is a one-of-a-kind friend and brother figure to Nick. His sense of humor, genuine emotion, and pure displays of enjoying the moment are just a few of the reasons Nick looks up to Keenan.

How Brie & Vanessa met: When Vanessa was a flyer in cheer & turned the wrong direction in a stunt during a high school football game, Brie was her back spot & even with the haphazard move by Vanessa, they stuck the stunt. They met before this, but that's definitely what solidified the friendship. Vanessa's favorite memory with Brie: Camping with the Pica's in Lake Shasta! More of a recent memory, but couldn't have come at a more fitting time in Vanessa's life. What Brie means to Vanessa: Brie is that one of a kind friend. When you need someone to help you clean up the party aftermath, she's already 3 steps ahead. She will make you laugh so hard you cry, tells you how it is, and will be there for you any hour of the day. She's genuine to her core & will support you in any life venture! ♥

How Nicole & Vanessa met: VHS Cheer brought the 2 together, but the trip that sealed the deal was Woodleaf 2013. Out in nature, doing various group activities, with NO phones for a week; that is true bonding. Vanessa's favorite memory with Nicole: Of anyone, Nicole visited most while Vanessa was in San Diego for college. Nicole met all of the college friends & at one point it was decided that Nicole just said she went there too! Looking back at photos, Nicole was there within 1 week of move in day! Best memories have to be Halloween freshman year & I'm Shmacked, 100%. What Nicole means to Vanessa: Nicole is the thoughtful friend. She considers all scenarios & is always has your best interest at heart. Count on her to make you feel special and loved, couldn't be more grateful for her! ♥

How Vanessa & Mia met: "Anotha 1" met through VHS cheer & early memories of their friendship began at cheer camp where all we looked forward to was the soft serve ice cream. Vanessa's favorite memory with Mia: Our first Vegas trip for Mia's 21st was hands down one of the best trips, you know how it goes: what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas--to now celebrating being almost wives together! What Mia means to Vanessa: Mamma Mia, she is probably one of the best people to hit this planet. Her positivity & outlook on life is inspiring to everyone around her. She truly shines a beam of light & is someone Vanessa can rely on to either 1) read her mind or 2) be open to listening without judgment, both come in clutch. How Vanessa & Jess met: The two met from the creation of the Straight Tools (our cool girl group name in high school) when we all came together as one. Count on these two to be the loudest ones in any room. Vanessa's favorite memory with Jess: Jess was the friend we could count on for our annual girls group professional photos & lit birthday parties, boy she delivered. Her 19th birthday was one of the best; one of our first experiences at a club & let's just say we are glad we got in! Thanks mom! What Jess means to Vanessa: Jess beats to her own drum and is proud of who she is, something that Vanessa admires about her. She is humble beyond belief & beautiful from the inside out. When you meet her, you can instantly feel her energy & know that's a friendship you'd never want to lose. ♥

How Vanessa and Liv met: The summer before SDSU, they fell in love at first type...yes, over Facebook of course! They were roommates for a semester before Liv moved back to Napa to pursue her passion, but that didn't stop their friendship from blooming. Vanessa's favorite memory with Liv: Vanessa was known to drag Liv to ALL of her events on campus & one of the first ones they went to freshman year was glow in the dark roller blading. We were the clumsiest ones in the rink, but hey, at least we laughed our booties off! What Liv means to Vanessa: She was the very first one to tell Vanessa & her mom that Nick was 'the one'. Her intuition, love & altruism make up the artistically beautiful person that she is. Her spirit is contagious, one that anyone would latch on to & never let go. ♥

Where Nick & Brandon met: Brandon is Nick's older brother so they didn't have a choice in the matter. Nick's Favorite Memory with Brandon: A lot of mischief has happened between the two of them. Nick carved his name into a dining room table while their Mom was on a call. Brandon got a kick out of how much trouble Nick got in that he proceeded to carve Nick's name on anything in the house that he could find, including living room candles. Nick wasn't thrilled to get yelled at for things he didn't do, so the house eventually became a carving station between each of them. What Brandon Means to Nick: During various interviews, Nick was always asked the same question, "who is a role model in your life?" Brandon is someone that Nick wishes to emulate as a husband, father, and professional.

Where Nick & Jake met: Nick wishes it was more romantic and they could've met after locking eyes in The Pit during a Luke Combs concert, but nooooo, that wasn't it. Nick and Jake were super kosher and met while attending San Diego State. Nick's Favorite Memory with Jake: While living together in San Diego, Jake, Nick, and fellow roommates hosted a Friendsgiving. The day started with aggressive touch football on the beach. Afterwards, they headed back home to a cockroach infested kitchen to cook the finest 8 course meal on this fine Earth. Isaac (below) can tell you about the grilled onions. What Jake Means to Nick: Put simply, if anything bad were to happen to Nick or Vanessa, the two of them know that if they gave Jake a call, at any hour of the day, he would be there for them.

Where Nick & Kyle met: Kyle came back to middle school after being in Southern California for a little while. All of the girls were obsessed with his beach blonde hair and tan skin, so Nick's pretty confident Kyle wanted to be friends in order to use his cell phone to text all of these young ladies. Nick's Favorite Memory with Kyle: When they were in high school, Nick and Kyle spent a weekend at Diamond Peak Ski Resort. Nick, who basically had two left feet on a snowboard at that time in his life, was lucky enough to have Kyle there to teach him how to wax his board, ollie, and not fall face down, ass up. What Kyle Means to Nick: Kyle's ability to connect with anyone is incomparable, but what stands out the most to Nick is that he can always trust Kyle to look out for Vanessa.

Where Nick & Isaac met: More than likely, it was August 2014 while taking a shot from a $10 plastic vodka bottle. However, it could've very well been the local toilet store. Time is such a construct, am I right? Nick's Favorite Memory with Isaac: Nick will save the plummeting down a snowy mountain story for another time. His favorite memory goes back to when Isaac was looking for some assistance with a business venture. After writing an entertaining script and rehearsing nightly, they dressed up in wigs and pitched to sororities. The product didn't do so hot, but the two of them looked cute. What Isaac Means to Nick: Just as a bass guitar is a critical instrument to make a connection between the drumbeat and melody, Isaac is a critical piece to making any experience memorable.

Where Nick & Devon met: When they were on the Red Sox in 7th grade, Devon thought it'd be funny to spit water into Nick's baseball bag ... and here they are. Nick's Favorite Memory with Devon: Common summer traditions at the McPherson household included pool parties, air soft wars, and trampoline basketball. To cap off a summer evening, Devon and Nick planned to go bowling. Just before leaving, Devon tackled Nick onto a mattress and sprained Nick's wrist. Why Nick's favorite memory? Devon scattered through the house to find a ruler and tape to create a splint so he could still bowl. What Devon means to Nick: Devon is one of the most unique and contagious characters to be around. Whether it's floating the river for the 4th of July or just grabbing dinner, Nick hopes to have Devon there.

Where Nick & Tyler met: When they met in middle school, Tyler and Nick didn't have all that much in common, but undoubtedly were brought together by their mutual passion for embarrassing people in video games. Nick's Favorite Memory with Tyler: Vanessa had a big party arranged for Nick's birthday; however, Covid caused a shifting of plans to something more low key, snowboarding. While Nick was waiting in line at Heavenly Ski Resort to claim their season passes Tyler came up to surprise him. What Tyler Means to Nick: Tyler is someone that Nick has always sought to emulate for his hospitality, patience, and love for his family. From the time Nick first introduced the two, Tyler welcomed Vanessa into his family instantly and Nick feels confident that he'll never waver on that.
