For those who don't know Junior and I met through a mutual friend while I was working at Perfumania after returning to New York temporarily. We went on our first date on August 21st after speaking on the phone for several weeks. After dinner, Junior and I went on a walk at Riverbank State Park where he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes! Within just a few months of dating I knew he was "The One" and my temporary stay in New York became permanent. It wasn't all peaches and cream. Junior and I broke up just a month and a half after becoming official. The break up only lasted a few weeks and we were back together. From there on our relationship moved on pretty quickly. In June of 2009 after just 9 months of dating, I found out I was pregnant with Juliet. In August 2009 we moved into our first apartment where I actually proposed to Junior on our 1 year anniversary. In February of 2010 we became parents to our beautiful Juliet. What an amazing experience but boy were we stressed. We went through a lot of changes in a short period of time. Essentially in less than two years we began dating, moved in together and had a baby. The only thing left to do was to get married and become officially official. We loved each other and knew we wanted to be together forever so why not. July 1, 2010 we eloped. The ceremony consisted of Junior, myself, Juliet, our witness Jessie and the wedding officiant. Immediately right after we went to a local studio and took pictures, bought some chinese food and went home where we celebrated alone with Juliet. A few years later in March 2016 we became parents a second time. Little Jaleigh was born and a few months later we completed our family by adding our fur baby Jinger. This summer we will be celebrating 10 years of marriage and we have decided that we want to have our marriage blessed by the church. Therefore we began to plan our Consolidation of Marriage where we hope to celebrate with you all.
