Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! This is an international trip and a passport is mandatory. We also advise that you check your passport expiration date and make sure it does not expire within 6 months of your return date.

Are there any other requirements that I should know in order to travel to the Dominican Republic?

Answer

Yes! Dominican Republic requires all travelers to complete an E-ticket. You will need to complete one for your travel to the country and one for your travel back to the United States. You will be emailed a barcode that you must show airline employees prior to boarding. We highly suggest you complete this at least the day before your arrival/departure. What are important dates I need to know?

Answer

September 1, 2025: $100 Refundable Deposit on Your Room is Due **Formal invitations will only be sent to those who reserve their room by this date** November 5, 2025: Two-Night Room Payment is Due February 5, 2026: Total Room Payment is Due March 13. 2026: Flight Itinerary is Due to Our Travel Agent **If you send your flight information after this date, you will be charged the private rate, rather than the group rate, for transportation

What is the dress code for the wedding and the resort?

Answer

Wedding: Beach Casual Men: Short or long-sleeved shirts, such as polos or button-ups. Shorts or long pants, such as Chinos, Khakis or linen pants. Deck shoes, loafers or sandals but NO flip flops or sneakers. No denim, cargo pants, swim shorts or t-shirts. Women: Sundress, maxi dress, romper. Dressy sandals are allowed but no flip flops. We also suggest chunky heels or wedges rather than regular heels. No shorts, t-shirts or sneakers. We suggest you bring a variety of clothing. The dress code for each restaurant can be found on the Hyatt Inclusive App.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, we have provided a variety of options in the Registry tab.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes; however, due to our limited guest capacity, we cannot allow all children to attend. If your child/children are invited, they will be included on your invitation.

What does all-inclusive mean?

Answer

In addition to your stay, you will have access to unlimited food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), activities and entertainment without any additional costs.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

There tends to be more rain in May than during other months; however, the showers only last for 20-30 minutes. Additionally, it will also be hot and humid with the temperature in the 90s.

Should I tip at the resort?

Answer

Tipping is optional. We do encourage small tips ($1's, $5's, $10's). The resort accepts American bills, so no need to convert your cash. Our suggestions are below: Meals: $5-$10/meal Drinks: $1-$2/drink Housekeeping: $2-$3/day Some other services that you may tip for include: transportation, bellhop, refrigerator refill, and butler

What is there to do at Dreams/Secrets Royal Beach?

Answer

There is a lot to do at the resorts. There are pools, some of which have a swim-up bar, access to the beach, multiple dining options, a 24-hour cafe and pastry station, and nightly entertainment/shows. We HIGHLY suggest you download the Hyatt Inclusive App on your phone for more information.
