Nathan and I met during our first year of college. His dorm room was only down the hall, but for some reason he spent most of the time hanging out in my room. Nathan is the life of the party and you'll likely find him on the dance floor being, as he calls himself, a social butterfly. Fun fact: After graduation we worked together for a few years, and I’d joke with him that he was my work wife!

Although Celeste is my cousin, she is like a sister to me. In fact, we like to think we are Taurus sisters. She is fierce and down to earth. I can always count on her. Everyone needs a Celeste in their life! Fun fact: Oaxaca is basically her second home and she can speak/write/read some Zapotec.

Angel has been my little brother ever since '03! We grew up playing together and fighting together, but now he’s become one of the most trusted people in family and I know I can always count on him for anything. Fun fact: Angel is the best video game player I know. He’ll beat you in a match of Mario Smash Brothers using any character!

I remember meeting Debbie during lunch time in our junior year of high school. Since then we've liked to call each other "fake friends" (it's an insider joke). In reality, Debbie is one of the most realest girlfriends I've ever had. Fun fact: Debbie has too many tattoos to even count!
Charlie Martinez

Charlie is Cindy’s cousin, but he’s been more of a friend to me than anything! Although he lives far away in Texas, we always like to hang out and eat bomb food when he’s in town or when we’re there visiting. We also talk almost every day about the Dodgers and sports related news! Fun Fact: Charlie is an avid sports and movie aficionado!

Jasmine is easily one of my most unhinged cousins. She likes to say the most random stuff at the most random times. Jasmine's superpower is being able to make everyone in the room smile and burst into laughter. Fun fact: She loves to watch anime, her favorite show is Fruits Basket.
Gus Padilla

Gus and I met in the end of our second year in college. Soon after, we took a trip to Seattle and explored the entire city together. He’s the most down to earth guy I know, and we like to catch up over breakfast every so often! Fun fact: Gus is a high school teacher, but not just any teacher, he’s a cooool one! All his students call him “Mister” and he’s probably their favorite!
Lilly Martinez

Lilly is also a cousin of mine. Although she is a lot younger than me, I know I can always count on her for advice. She can be best described as someone who is full of curiosity and creativity. This is Lilly's world and we are all just living in it. Fun fact: She is a guinea pig whisperer.
Summer Munoz

I will never forget meeting Summer while working as a proctor during SAT testing. One of her jobs was screaming out directions for all the students to hear. Although I was intimated by her loud demeanor, I later found out she has a very gentle and loving soul. We've been friends ever since! Fun fact: She can make you homemade scrunchies, do your taxes, and more. The real question is, what can't Summer do?
Victor Cime

Victor is Cindy’s “little” uncle, but this guy is also the most passionate person I know. Whether he’s focused on his education, his work, or one of his many hobbies, he’s always giving 110% effort and I admire him for that. He also sends me some fire memes. Fun fact: Victor collects organs from dead people (yes really, he works in organ donation).
Valeria Martin Del Campo

I remember meeting Valeria while dropping off Ricardo home one day during high school. She had the longest hair and was much shorter back then (keep in mind this was 10 years ago). Although she has physically changed, her character has remained the same. Valeria is kind, very intelligent, and sincere. Fun fact: Valeria is an MIT alumni!
