Our wedding is very small. We want an intimate celebration with our closest friends and family. We will not be having plus ones attending our wedding. Your partner is invited if we've included them on the invitation.
We hired a farm to table caterer local to Taos. She will be using in-season fruits, vegetables and local meats. No seed oils, no preservatives, just whole, fresh ingredients. There will be two meat options and one vegetarian option with a salad, and assortment of sides. Grazing style means everyone will be able to eat whatever they please. Wedding cake will be provided for dessert.
The wedding will take place outside on a beautiful, private Airbnb property. We will be surrounded by willows, gardens, and near the Rio Hondo River. You will have access to the Airbnb home as you please.
Late June in New Mexico experiences average temperatures of 82 as the high and 49 as the low. It is "pleasantly warm." The sun will be setting at approximately 8:23PM on our wedding day, the Summer Solstice.
The attire for our wedding is Garden Chic or classic Southwestern Chic. We love color palettes of green, brown, beige, orange, lavender, and taupe. Think earthy, but summery. Southwestern style consists of patterned vests, western wide-brimmed hats, embroidered clothing, lace, western boots, fringe, suede, etc. Bring a layer for potential cooler temperatures in the late evening. The Bride & Groom will be barefoot, we'd love for you to join us.
