Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is Sunday, May 18th.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Due to limited space, we’ve had to keep our guest list tight and can’t accommodate as many plus-ones as we’d like. When you RSVP, you’ll see whether a plus-one has been included for you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to limited space, we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at San Francisco City Hall by 2:00 PM for the ceremony. Afterward, you'll have about two hours to explore the area before the reception begins- feel free to check out the Things To Do and Schedule tab for nearby suggestions! The reception will start at 5:00 PM at the West Gallery of Foreign Cinema.

Question

Can I take pictures with my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture every special moment, so we kindly ask that you keep your phones tucked away and be fully present with us during the ceremony. Thank you for helping us create an intimate and unplugged experience!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask for semi-formal attire. For women, long or midi dresses are perfect; for men, suits or dress pants with a jacket are great options. San Francisco’s weather in September is usually warm and sunny, making it one of the best times to visit! However, evenings can get chilly, and the winds from the bay can be unpredictable. We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater to stay comfortable as the evening progresses.

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs and will make sure our team is informed.

Question

Will you be reserving a hotel block for people coming from out of town?

Answer

We will not be reserving a hotel block, so we encourage you to book accommodations that best suit your preferences and budget. There are plenty of great options nearby, and we’re happy to offer recommendations if needed!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, we recommend parking at the Civic Center Parking Garage on McAllister Street (between Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place and Larkin). Limited street parking is also available nearby on Van Ness, McAllister, Grove, and Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, though it may be difficult to find. The War Memorial Opera House Garage is another nearby option. The ceremony and reception venues are approximately 3 miles apart. For the reception at Foreign Cinema, we suggest taking a shuttle, ride share, or Uber/Lyft due to limited parking in the area. If you prefer to drive, the Mission Bartlett Garage is a convenient option- just a 2-minute walk from the venue.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors.
