We quickly discovered a shared love for travel, the great outdoors, animals, and cheering on our favorite sports teams. Mike soon became a frequent flyer on the Pennsylvania highways, happily making a two-hour round-trip drive most days to see Morgan. Before we knew it, we were completely inseparable. Just days into our love story, Morgan faced an unimaginable loss with the passing of her mother. In one of life’s heaviest moments, Mike became a steady light—offering comfort, strength, and unwavering love. Walking through such a profound moment together made it clear: this was something rare and deeply special. Three years, countless miles, and two states we called home later, our next adventure was obvious. On a beautiful June day, while visiting Morgan’s mom’s favorite tropical paradise, Mike got down on one knee in the sand and asked Morgan to marry him. She said yes (obviously).
