Nick & I met through mutual friends in 2015. We would talk here & there as friends (I think both knowing we liked each other) but with me getting ready to attend a college 14 hours away the timing wasn't right. In December 2016 I moved back home to Minnesota from that college to be closer to my friends & family. Nick said he was so excited when he saw I moved back. In January 2017 he asked me out on a date & the rest is history. God's timing is always right & he always has a plan & purpose for everything. We are so thankful how everything worked out for us.

I have always loved traveling & last summer Nick surprised me with plane tickets to Chicago to spend a weekend there. He proposed to me on the second day of the trip, after 2½ years of dating, on Navy Pier. Safe to say it is now one of our favorite cities holding a very special moment to us. It's a weekend we will never forget & we plan to go back soon to visit.
