David and Haley met through Haley's cousin, Emily. It was her band senior night and they both attended her game, then went to Steak & Shake afterwards. They didn't think much of their meeting at the time, as Haley was in college and David was in high school (I know, I know), but that evening turned out to be a significant event in their relationship. You see, Haley wound up having to drive David home that night because a friend of David's bailed around 11 that evening. She barely knew him, and yet, drove him an hour home so he wouldn't be stranded miles away (he lived in Davenport, FL at the time and the senior night game was in Altamonte Springs, FL. It would have been a long walk). David and Haley did not see each other again until June 2018 when they both moved to Altamonte. They spent the summer getting to know each other and realized they had more in common than they initially thought. They liked watching the same YouTubers and shared a love of Pastaroni Fettuccini Alfredo. By September 1st, 2018, they were hooked, and started their journey to forever. Four shared apartments (both with and without roommates), nine job changes (five for Haley, four for David), 472 selfies (I made that up but it's probably pretty close), 12 Orlando Magic games (most likely), 162 date nights, and one birthday-turned-engagement cruise later, and these two lovebirds are getting married! We cannot wait to share our special day with you and hope you enjoyed the Story of Us.
