Answer from both Robert & Lucy: Please consider the wellbeing of our guests and the residents of Leelanau County. While we respect your individual circumstances and choices, we also humbly request that all of our guests who are able be vaccinated before joining us and to take precautions leading up to the weekend. That means that your last inoculation should take place on or before 08.08.21 or that you should receive a negative COVID-19 test before your departure. Please minimize travel and social interaction to the best of your ability during the two weeks before traveling to Michigan. Last but not least, we ask that everyone abide by social distancing and masking protocols when traveling and touring the Leelanau Peninsula. If you aren't able or are unwilling to accept these social responsibilities, then we hope to see you for our October celebration in Memphis! Thank you <3

Robert's Answer: Alexa... what is the weather like in Michigan? Lucy's Answer: August in Omena is heaven. Typical highs in the 70s/80s with lows in the 50s/60s -- if it isn't too warm we can have s'mores by a bonfire and if it's warm enough we will all cool off in Lake Michigan. Best to bring a light wrap or jacket for nighttime, just in case. As my mother would say, "If you don't like the weather in Michigan, just wait 10 minutes."
Robert's Answer: The legal drinking age in Michigan is 21+, so if your kid can pound a brewski with me, then he or she is welcome. Lucy's Answer: We love your kids, but this is an adult only affair. We politely request no children.
Robert's Answer: No one cares about your gluten intolerance... more than me. Lucy's Answer: Of course! On our formal invitation replies, there will be a place to identify allergies.
Robert's Answer: No. Lucy's Answer: In order to keep our Michigan weekend as intimate as possible, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
Robert's Answer: There is no Uber in Omena, but the Lovelesses and the Wingfields will have a few cars in the area, and there will be cars onsite for emergencies. Lucy's Answer: For the most part, everything you need will either be within walking distance or at the accommodation venues. We have also coordinated shuttles for all of our events for the weekend. If you would like to rent a bicycle for the weekend, please use this link to rent from the team at North Shore Outfitters in Northport, MI: https://www.suttonsbaybikes.com/loveless.html They have bikes for rent and can even have them waiting for you at your housing location upon arrival. (Lovefield Wedding discount!)
Robert's Answer: Please don't use phones or cameras during the ceremony. Our photographers will do the best job capturing our vows, and we'd rather you stay in the moment with us instead. Our officiant will remind you before we start. Lucy's Answer: That said, please take tons of pictures throughout the rest of the weekend-- and tag us! #TheLovefields
