A place very special for us! As this is where Kaeli has grown up spending most of her time at the beach, where Trevor works at Naval Air Station North Island, where many of our first dates and weekends with friends were spent, AND where we we got engaged! This charming, all-American, family oriented, military town is situated on an island that is home to one of the prettiest beaches in San Diego and best views of the bay/downtown skyline at the ferry landing. There are plenty of cute shops and restaurants, as well as the famous historic Hotel Del. Keep an eye out for the Romeo helicopters flying over, these are what Trevor fly!
A cute village situated on the water along San Diego Bay with shops and restaurants like Malibu Farms or Spill the beans coffee and bagel shop. With views of San Diego Bay, Coronado Island, naval ships and hangar bays on Trevor's base! Also a short walk to the famous "Kissing Sailor" statue and the Midway ship museum. There is also the option to take San Diego Bay boat tours, harbor dinner boat cruises or the ferry across the bay to Coronado and back!
If you are looking for some nightlife downtown, this is where to come! Line dance at Moonshine Flats, play arcade games at Coin Op, solve a murder mystery, or watch a dueling piano show at The Shout house in the historic Gaslamp quarter of San Diego!
Where Trevor and I had our first date! Explore the boardwalk that extends to Pacific beach where you can ride bikes, check out Belmont park or stop at some of the many restaurants and bars that are situated along the beach. Walk out onto the ocean on Crystal Pier in Pacific beach for a beautiful sea breeze, and watch the surfers as you feel the waves crash right beneath you!

Arguably one of the best views in San Diego, hike or drive to the top of the cliffside hills that sit on Torrey Pines beach to see endless views of California's coast and the Pacific ocean. Torrey Pines runs along one of California's deepest underwater ocean trenches rich with marine life!
Located at the famous Del Mar racetrack and open from June 1st- July 4th, the San Diego County Fair is one of the most iconic and well known things to kick off our summers. With so many crazy foods and rides, its a guaranteed blast. They also have concerts you can get separate tickets for on certain dates.

Dana Point is a charming little beach town, the first place Kaeli's family lived in California. The next town up and a short drive past the wedding venue, if you want to see beautiful orange county and get in touch with the ocean and marine life, this is the best way to do it! Known for their marine life, take a 2 hour boat trip off the coast of Dana Point and San Clemente and become one with the ocean, dolphins and whales in the most unique way for an experience you will never forget. Don't forget to check out the rest of the area, walk the Dana point harbor, or make the short drive up to Laguna beach just past Dana Point.
