Arriving & Where to Stay

The Wedding Website of Hunter VanKlompenberg and Victoria LaTeano
We recommend staying in the Bywater, Marigny, or French Quarter neighborhoods. Each area is fantastic, walkable, and well-connected. French Quarter: Vibrant nightlife, historic architecture, and high tourist traffic. It’s lively, with many bars, restaurants, and attractions. Marigny: Adjacent to the French Quarter, Marigny has a more relaxed, local feel with charming, colorful houses, quirky boutiques, and cozy bars. It’s lively but less frenetic than the French Quarter. Bywater: Further from the French Quarter, Bywater offers a bohemian, artsy vibe with eclectic street art, local eateries, and a laid-back atmosphere. It’s the most relaxed of the three. Our open house on Saturday and the wedding on Sunday will be in Bywater. The French Quarter is bustling with plenty to discover, but for a more laid-back vibe, check out Airbnbs in Bywater or Marigny.

Flight

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport

The main airport in New Orleans is about a 25 minute taxi or uber ride from the three neighborhoods mentioned above. You may prefer to rent a car, but these areas are fairly walkable and have limited parking so you may be just as well off without one.
