Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire. Suits are encouraged for men and cocktail length, midi or long dresses are encouraged for women. Bright colors and florals are welcome!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place outdoors on the lawn (weather permitting) and the reception will be held indoors.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, for more information on the shuttles please see the travel page. If you are staying at a different hotel in Charlottesville, feel free to Uber to the shuttle pickup point. On the RSVP please indicate if you are using the shuttle. There are not many Ubers near our wedding venue, so we highly recommend using the shuttle or having a designated driver.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot. If you are driving please arrive by 6 pm.

Will there be a welcome party?

Answer

Yes! Please join us on July 17 from 8-10 pm at The Opal Lounge (located above the Mockingbird). There will be light bites and a cash bar. Please see the Schedule section for more information.
