What is the dress code?

Answer

Western Attire Requested We're thrilled to add a little western flair to our celebration! Feel free to embrace you inner cowboy or cowgirl with boots, hats and belt buckles, or just bring a touch of western charm to your outfit. We want you to feel comfortable and ready to two-step and boot-scoot the night away in the barn.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Children are welcome! We're so excited to have you and the little ones join us for our special day! We want everyone, big and small to be a part of the celebration. Due to limited highchairs & booster seats we ask that if you are able to bring yours along it would be greatly appreciated. If you need any special accommodations or have questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

When, where, and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 18th, 2025. You can RSVP using the prepaid envelope enclosed with your invitation or here on our website under the RSVP page.

What if I don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by August 18th, it will automatically be marked as a “no”. We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time frame they have given us. Thank you for your understanding!

Will there be a shuttle service to the hotel after the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle service provided to safely get you from BWB Ranch to The Chase on the Lake.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes. Our Ranch Parking Logistics Manager will direct you on where to safely park and wait for the complimentary trolly service to the barn. Your car will be safe at the Ranch until you return in the morning to get it. We do suggest locking any valuables. A four door side by side (UTV) will be available for our guests that need additional comfort to the barn.

What airports can I fly into?

Bemidji (BJI) Brainard (BRD) Minneapolis Saint Paul (MSP) All airports you will need to rent a car to drive to Walker. Planning to non-rev 🔺 We recommend MSP for your travels as BJI & BRD flights operate on regional jets.

What is the weather/climate for Walker MN?

As you plan for our big day in mid-September, we wanted to give you a heads-up on the weather in Walker. Expect mild and pleasant temperatures—perfect for a celebration! Daytime highs typically range from the low 60s to mid-70s (°F), while evenings cool off to the low 40s to mid-50s (°F). It’s also a good idea to keep an eye on the weather forecast, as September can bring a little rain here and there, but nothing that will dampen our spirits! Whether you’re dressing in western flair or enjoying the great outdoors, the fall climate should make for a comfortable and beautiful setting. Be sure to bring layers for the evening chill, and don’t forget your boots!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifies we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The church will open 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony time at 2:00pm We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time for parking and finding a seat.

What time will the reception end and will there be an after party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:30pm and we will plan for an after party in Walker.

Will there be a time gap from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

A 90-minute cocktail hour will take place at BWB Ranch between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites and lawn games.

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding and can I post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media, as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images.
