Alfonso's Mexican Food
Around an hour from the venue, Alfonsos is owned and operated by one of Grace and Dillon's best friends. Dillon's favorite is the breakfast burrito, and Grace can't get enough of the carne asada nachos! It's a perfect place to pick up lunch while exploring and experiencing some local flavor! Don't forget to add on New Mexico's signature red and green chile sauces.
NRA Whittington Center
Just outside of town, the NRA Whittington Center, is one of the largest premier shooting and outdoor recreation facilities in America. Sitting on 33,300 acres the center offers a variety of ranges, wildlife exhibits, and beautiful hiking trails. Even if you're not a shooting enthusiast, it's worth visiting for the views, history and beautiful landscape!

For a casual meal located right in town, Bruno's Pizza & Wings is a local favorite. Dillon and Grace love the Jalapeño Popper Pizza. But, with a full menu of delicious pizza combinations, and wings, theres something for everyone! Its a perfect spot to grab dinner with friends and family while enjoying local taste.

If you're up for a short drive to Colorado, Purgatoire River Trading is one of Grace's favorite places. It is a charming store full of unique gifts, handmade Native jewelry, and a taste of the region's Western heritage. It's a perfect shop to browse, learn a little history, and even pick up your own turquoise to take home with you!
