Irish pub in Marietta Square, right by the hotel/venue. It's James' favorite bar in the area!
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Marietta
Fastest go-kart experience you've probably ever had! A short Uber ride or drive from the venue! Megan and I had a blast when we went here together!
Ponce City Market
Ponce city market is a neat location in Atlanta with stores, shopping, and quick access to the Beltline!
The Vortex Bar & Grill
This Atlanta staple is a place Meg and I have enjoyed. A crazy atmosphere and even crazier burgers. The one near Little 5 Points will give you a taste of real Atlanta, while the location in Midtown will give you a chance to see more common tourist attractions!
Kennesaw Mountain
Kennesaw Mountain is the location of some beautiful trails. You can easily drive to the top 1/4 of the trail and, from the top, you can see Atlanta. Additionally, there is ample opportunity to learn about the Civil War.
Helen
Helen, Georgia is a beautiful town near Yonah mountain in N. Georgia (where Megan and James got engaged). Helen is modeled after a small German town and has a lot of fun things to do including: tubing down the Chattahoochee river (locally known as shooting the hooch), an alpine roller coaster, beer gardens and lots of beautiful sights. It is roughly 2 hours northeast of Marietta, but is worth a stop!
