We met in high school back in 2015 — Tessa was busy with theatre, Brayden with football — and somewhere in the middle of all that, Tessa accidentally backed into Brayden’s car. (Don’t worry, he forgave her.) We became friends anyway, stayed close through college at Central Washington University, and Brayden quickly discovered that Tessa was the perfect person to help him pass French. After moving back home, we started spending more and more time together during COVID, and before long, we were sharing an apartment with our cats, Stella and Rocky. Pipeline work took us on the road in a trailer, visiting places from Las Vegas to San Jose, and one night in Tucson, Brayden proposed — with the cats as our witnesses. We’ve since settled into our first home in Eatonville, welcomed our dog Harley, and are excited to start our next big adventure: getting married!
