Tura & Luis

Wedding Party

Meet our favorite people.

Sara Magley

Sister of Honor

The bride's younger sister, Sara is Tura's oldest friend, first best pal, and favorite childhood playmate. Nearly every major moment and life lesson was experienced together - from those on the softball field, to sharing a room growing up, and even our first fist fights. Sara has always been the life of any party. We love that Sara has the biggest heart and an even greater laugh. Make you sure you ask her to "walk it out" on the dance floor - and if you're looking for embarrassing stories of the bride, she has plenty! Tura is so proud to be Sara's big sister and is so grateful to share this season of life with her.

Ralph Molina

Best Man

Luis first met Ralph the first day summer of freshman year at USF as suite mates. While they actually didn't like each other at first, the two eventually grew on each other one library hangout, missed bus, and refereed IM game at a time. Luis considers Ralph his longest, truest friend. He has been there for Luis through so many ups and downs of life together. More like a brother, he has become part of the family and claims to be the favorite son in the Laracuente family. He truly is the most loyal, dependable friend Luis could ask for. - always willing to step up to be Luis' #1 volunteer! Ralph will always have a special place in the bride and groom's heart, as he (and his fiancé, Sam) was the one who encouraged Luis to work up the courage to ask out Tura in the first place!

Kelly Platko Parra

Matron of Honor

Kelly is the bride's lifelong friend, and chosen sister. Tura and Kelly first met on the floor mats of their first grade catechism class after Kelly moved to Florida from New York. From church plays, hand bell choir, youth group, and high school memories (sponsored by pool volleyball, Gilmore Girls, and Pizza Rolls) - Kelly and the Platko family quickly became second family. We were roommates all four years at Florida State, have shared countless "naturegirl" road trips, and have supported each other through the ups and downs of every life season- there isn't much we have not shared together! The most positive and uplifting lady around, everyone needs a Kelly and Tura is so grateful she gets her for life.

Chris Randall

Best Man

Luis and Chris became friends through Student Government at USF and were college roommates for 3 years. Some of the groom's fondest memories of Randall included getting stranded in Luis' yellow truck and their long-winded political debates (usually ending with Luis falling asleep), sometimes accompanied by Chris' delicious spaghetti and sausage. Chris is the definition a southern gentleman, has the world's biggest heart, and has an affection for Hispanic culture (aye ladies!). Even through he denies it to this day, Chris is most notorious in the family for being the one to break a bed the first time he visited Luis' family in Puerto Rico. Chris is a storyteller by nature - make sure you catch one of his stories at the reception!

Leah Lindberg

Maid of Honor

Leah is one of Tura's oldest pals and dearest gals. They have known each other for over 20 years and become closer and closer by the day. Whether it be church mission trips, high school mischief, or slumber parties well into adulthood, every moment has always been sweeter and richer with Leah by each other's side. She Tura's everyday go-to girl, whether it be for a morning phone call, FaceTime, or to share in pondering life's biggest questions together. Leah is by far one of Tura's greatest supporters, encouragers, and is a blessing of a friend-always willing to cheer on her tribe and tell it the way it is. The bride and groom look forward to our annual tradition of taking a friends trip to Leah's family cabin - and love every moment we get to spend (pacata-ing around) together.

Arlen Frasqueri

Best Man

Luis and Frasqueri (con la fresqueria) met at USF when they both joined an interest group for a fraternity on campus. While neither ended up joining, they each found a brother for life in each other (alongside Chris Randall). You can catch Arlen and Luis laughing hardest when reminiscing on countless college memories, usually having to do with fraternity strolling, dogs, cars, and Chris Randall. Luis considers Arlen an extension of the family. They have shared countless meaningful chapters of life together, from Arlen's deployment overseas, to holidays together, and more. Find Arlen on the dance floor making up his latest "stroll" with Luis during the reception!

Patricia Laracuente

Sister of the Groom & Bridesmaid

Patricia, affectionately called "Nani", is Luis' older sister (only by 11 months!). Patricia has always been Luis' very best friend. From playing Power Rangers to being high school lunch buddies, Nani has always been Luis' greatest protector and confidante. Through the years, Luis has always depended on her kind non-judgmental heart, listening ears, and sound advice. Simply put, she is a blessing because she is more than a sister, but a lifelong best friend. You'll be able to pick out Nani's infectious laughter in any crowd and lights up every room with her ability to make everyone feel loved and cared for. Luis is so proud to have watched Dr. Laracuente chase and achieve so many of her dreams and Tura is beyond grateful that she gets the bonus older sister she always prayed for.

Chris Magley

Brother of the Bride & Groomsman

Chris is the brother of the bride and, frankly, one of her favorite people in the whole world. Though ten years apart, Tura considers him one of her best friends. An old soul with a heart of gold, Chris is an aspiring occupational therapist who is destined for greatness. Some of our favorite memories with Chris include our game nights featuring Settlers of Catan and Fireball. Luis has loved getting the brother he always wanted in Chris. Catch him lighting up the dance floor - especially when "Suavemente" is played!

Victoria Lopez Boschmans

Bridesmaid

Tura and Victoria met their first day of college at FSU as random suitemates and the rest is history for these Nole Girls! From living together throughout college, to naturegirl road trips, and the best conversations, so many important life moments include the bride and Victoria together. We are obsessed with Victoria's quirky humor, unexpected one-liners, and devout friendship! Luis is so excited to be the newest member of "girl circle"!

Caleb McInnis

Bride and Groomsman

Caleb and Tura first met in third grade and had a budding friendship based on their childhood love for Taco Bell nachos. They went on their first date together (but not together) in the sixth grade, played in the middle school and high school orchestra together, and had a long-distance friendship throughout college and beyond. Luis has come to adore Caleb and their friendship has grown from their shared competitive sprits, coquito, and mutual love for Tura! We love Caleb for his fierce loyalty and even fiercer sarcasm and spirit.

Karlin Reed

Bridesmaid

Tura and Karlin first met in Bradenton through mutual friends (thanks, Lucas and Cara!) before heading to Florida State together. Blending the world's greatest summer friend group, they quickly became inseparable – bonding over their affection for live music and making every experience a new adventure, no matter how big or small. Karlin is a true TikTok influncer, but Tura takes partial credit for starring in Karlin's early college YouTube videos documenting the best moments of our college experiences. We love Karlin for her huge heart, amazing accents and impressions, positive outlook on life, and ability to make every moment more fun!

Garrett Schlichte

Bride and Groomsman

The bride first met Garrett her sophomore year at Florida State as Orientation Leaders, where she declared they "would be best friends" - and he thought she was absolutely out of her mind. Her bold statement became true and they became a dynamic duo causing trouble together ever since, one questionable decision (and Thursday LosCos/Bullwinkles moment) at a time. Garrett has always empowered and encouraged Tura in life and love and she is forever grateful for his good heart and wittier soul. Garrett will likely be the one leading a line dance or yelling "Go Noles" at our wedding - Orientation Leader habits never truly die.

Rachel Massey

Bridesmaid

Rachel and Tura met during prospective student day at Ohio State - and the rest was history (GO BUCKS FOREVER)! The bride was impressed to meet someone who put her own organization, planning, and intentionality to shame in grad school, but was even more blown away by Rachel's loyalty, care, and meaningful follow-through. The highest standard of a friend, Rachel is one of the most honest, compassionate, and thoughtful people we have ever met, and we love her big for it. Ask her about her favorite travels and favorite places she's lived abroad - and gift her with a drink at the open bar after she helps be your Spanish/English translator at the reception! #HowFirmThyFriendship
