The Pines by Wedgewood Weddings in Golden, Colorado 633 Park Point Dr, Golden, CO 80401
Yes and no! The ceremony is outdoors (about half an hour once it starts), but everything else will be inside with an accessible patio. The high for the day is looking to be around 60 degrees Fahrenheit or 16 degrees Celsius, so please dress appropriately!
The attire for our wedding is to be black-tie optional. For those who would like to wear a dress, the length can be whatever you feel comfortable in, whether that be short or long, but a little more dressed up. For those who would like to wear pants, please refrain from jeans or khakis, or shorts of any kind. A suit, tux, or military dress would be considered on par for black tie, but as long as you are in dress pants (that you can dance in) with a nice button up, it will do just fine.
Please reference the "schedule" tab!
Absolutely! Please carpool with those you know for space and for environmental reasons. We also ask that you designate a sober driver, as we want everyone to enjoy the weekend as safely as possible. If you cannot find one, Ubers are readily available and easily accessible from all points in the metro area. Update - you may leave your car at the venue overnight if you are drinking and are unable to drive home safely. They ask that you pick your car up by noon on Sunday, the 19th. We take intoxicated driving very seriously - please do not partake in it. Leave the car.
Walk down the slope of the ceremony venue and see benches in front of you. Bella will be standing on the right side, while Mitchell will be on the left, so do with that what you will. The top section of benches are for friends, while the lower section is for family. If you are related to the Volfsons, please sit on the left lower side benches. If you are related to the Markeys or Wadkins, please sit on the right side closest to the aisle. If you are related to the Lantzkys or Savelys, please sit on the far right side. We will be angled so everyone can see, but have decided this seating situation will be the most ideal!
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We want you all to be present with us in the moment! We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us, and will share their work once we receive it. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like.
We will be providing an open bar during cocktail hour, which is after the ceremony and before the reception. After this timeframe, we will have our two signature drinks available for consumption all night, on us. If they aren't your cup of tea, you will be able to purchase the beverage of your choice. This all being said, our wedding ends at 8:30pm and we plan to go out to the bars in downtown Denver afterwards, and we would love for you to join us! Please pace yourself regardless of your after party plans, as the elevation can go to your head just as fast as alcohol can. We want you to have the best time, so while some drinks are on us, the hangover is on you!
Yes, of course. While our pups will be in attendance at the ceremony, sadly, Steve the parrot and kitten boys will not be able to join us. If you would like a photo opportunity with the dogs, they will be available during cocktail hour, after we get some family photos done. No, we are not kidding.
As you all know, Bella went to culinary school in 2023 and really enjoys cooking, while Mitchell has started experimenting in the kitchen! We are asking each guest / couple / family unit to provide a typed and printed family recipe that reflects your own home, your own family, your own cultural background - something you couldn't imagine not being part of your story! Please title it "Last Name's Family Dish" ex: Volfson Family Chicken Soup (if you know, you know!). Include a little story behind the recipe - did you crave it while carrying your first child? Did your grandmother make it while you were sick growing up? Did you stumble upon it preparing for an at-home date? Whatever it is, we want to have it! Once we get all of the recipes, we will make a personalized cookbook to remember all who were in attendance for our wedding. This is so important to us, and we can't wait to try all of your dishes! Who knows, maybe they will become part of OUR story!
