The wedding will be semi-formal. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please don't wear white dresses or dresses of a light color that may photograph white.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, the doors open at 4 PM. Please arrive with enough time to get seated before the ceremony begins!
There will be two shuttles traveling from the Best Western Plus (Dillsboro) and the Holiday Inn Express (Sylva). As well as one traveling from the Smokey Cove Lodge (for bridal party and immediate family). A shuttle schedule for the day will be added here and under the travel tab when we get closer to the day.
We love your kids, but unfortunately we are unable to include individuals not listed on the invitation due to capacity restrictions at our venue. However, we understand that many of our family and friends are traveling from a distance and may not have childcare, so we have included kids on specific invitations. Please note that this will still be programmed as an “adults-only” event after 9 PM (i.e. the playlist will not be PG).

For the cocktail hour there will be passed hors d’oeuvres. It will be a plated dinner (you will choose your main when you RSVP) and we will have accommodations for those with dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian).
While there is ample parking at the venue, you are not allowed to leave a car overnight. The venue is located on a windy mountain road. If you plan on enjoying the open bar, or are not comfortable driving at night, we highly recommend utilizing the shuttle buses that will be traveling to and from the hotels (the hotels listed for blocks). There are not a lot of Ubers in the area, so don’t count on that as an option.
Yes! Please see the “Travel” page for details on hotel blocks at two nearby hotels. There are also lots of Airbnb’s in the area, however please note that the shuttle will not be stopping anywhere except the hotels and the venue.
