Wedding guests will receive free admission to the museum the morning of the wedding, Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Walk around where Ben and Taylor both went to college – take a tour of the Nationality Rooms in the Cathedral of Learning, stop in for a pitcher at Hemingway's or pizza at the Porch. Visit Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (where Ben's brother, Chris, and our sister-in-law, Adriana, got married) or walk through Schenley Park. Exploring Oakland is a great option for those who want to remain closer to the hotel block and wedding venue.
An area where Taylor spends a lot of time, stop by Amazing Yoga for the bride's favorite hot yoga class, Noodlehead and Millies for thai food and unique ice cream, or Mercurio's for pizza and gelato in addition to browsing the shops.
Enjoy walking around a lively area adjacent to downtown. Stop by Iron Born Pizza and get Ben's favorite, the Forager Pie, or Peace, Love, and Little Doughnuts for a small, but sweet treat. Stop by De Fer Coffee and Tea for a lavender vanilla latte, or enjoy a nice dinner at Balvanera.
Head to Point State Park to walk along the river, or cross over to the North Shore to see PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium, or visit the Andy Warhol Museum. Enjoy brunch at the Commoner, pasta at Pizzaiolo Primo, tacos at Täko, or grab something to go from Market Street Grocery.
If you're reading this a month or more in advance, make a reservation at Pusadee's Garden, our favorite restaurant in the city (reservations typically open up a month prior to the desired date). Try a pastry at La Gourmandine or Mediterra Cafe, or head across the bridge into Millvale and enjoy a beer at Grist House.
