Francis has been one of my best friends since we met in middle school. A fellow pitcher in high school, Francis and I bonded over flat-grounds and sunflower seeds. Between the best man duo, Francis and I have accumulated countless inside jokes with Gabe, each dumber than the next. I'm so grateful to call Francis one of my closest friends.
Jessica Rhee

Jessica and I are sisters more so than friends by now. We grew up in the same neighborhood and have gone through all of our highs and lows together. I would not be who I am today without Jessica and her unwavering support, unconditional love, and (of course) her sass & humor. She is my rock, and I couldn’t imagine standing up there without her by my side ❤️👯♀️
Gabe Amaya
Best Man
Gabe, the other half of the dynamic best man duo, has been one of my best friends since being set up by Francis in our 10th grade English class. Gabe and I have only gotten closer since I moved hundreds of miles away to college nearly 9 years ago. From our beach weekend trips to his Grandma’s, our weekly gaming session, to our frequent movie arguments, I can’t imagine my life without his friendship.
Hajrah Malik

Hajrah and I met in 4th grade and annoyed each other to no end 😂 We both kept forgetting our pencil pouches and had to borrow one another’s supplies, until one day we started laughing about it during recess and immediately became best friends. My life wouldn’t be the same without Hajrah’s calm guidance, hilarious commentary, and of course her mom’s spaghetti 🍝

Dan and I go way back. Like way, way back. From crawling around kindergarten nap time, to countless sleepovers, to trips to the Basketball Hall of Fame in high school, Dan is the definition of a Day One. I've always known Dan would be a groomsman and am so happy that day has come.

Briana and I met on the first day of middle school; pretty quickly we found out we were equal parts chill and dramatic. I don’t know how I would’ve done middle and high school without Bea, singing together and eating 100-calorie snack packs all night. She has stayed one of my dearest friends, and I can't wait to have her comforting presence at the altar 💞🫶

Thanks to the Elon University Communications Fellowship, I met my next three groomsmen by the first day of college, with one exception. Alex and I met on Facebook through the Fellowship and decided we both loved sports ephemera enough to room together Freshman year. We ended up rooming together three or four years in college and have enjoyed countless adventures together since.
Bonnie McClellan

Bonnie and I also met in 7th grade, but became truly inseparable in high school. If a person can be a safe space, that person is Bonnie. She has gotten me through so many hardships with love, hugs, and tea & cookies. I couldn’t be more grateful to have Bonnie in my life, and am so happy she’ll be there (all the way from Germany!) on the big day 🍪🥰

The second of my three Elon groomsmen, Avik and I clicked from day one of college. We (regrettably and stereotypically) started a podcast in college, have been to Atlanta together countless times, and can’t get enough of each others company whenever we’re together. Avik is an incredibly special person and I feel lucky to call him a friend.

Anna & I became besties almost immediately in January 2023. Between talking and talking and talking, crafting a ton of candles, borrowing books, and drinking many bottles of wine, our friendship has grown quickly and deeply. Catch us making mocktails & watching the Bachelor every Monday night 🥂 I can’t wait for her to be there by my side in October!! ❤️
