The following trails are approachable and close by: South Mountain Park & Preserve – Just behind the Arizona Grand Resort! Tons of short trails like Judith Tunnel Trail and Bajada Loop. Pima Canyon Trailhead – Great desert views, light incline, ~5–10 min drive from the resort. Desert Classic Trail – Scenic but low-key trail right off the resort grounds. Pro Tip: Go in the early morning for cooler temps and golden light.

If you want to get out and explore the city a bit… Old Town Scottsdale – Art galleries, boutique shops, and tons of great food. Olive & Ivy at Scottsdale Waterfront is where the Groom took the Bride for brunch on the day he proposed. Tempe Marketplace – Outdoor mall with shopping, dining, and live music. Downtown Phoenix – Trendy breweries, museums, and coffee shops. Kierland Commons & Scottsdale Quarter – Outdoor shopping centers with great restaurants, cocktails, and luxe stores...the Bride & Groom especially recommend Culinary Dropout & Dominick's Steakhouse.
