We will be covering food and drink at Boulevard Brewery. We will not be covering the other events during the weekend but we hope you can join us!
Yes, there is parking at all events. Boulevard Brewery: We have 136 parking spots for the engagement party. The location will be specified by the venue closer to the event. We'll make it known where to park via balloons, signs, etc. Optional events: Funky Town- There is parking and it’s free. Royals game- Parking must be purchased in advance. General parking is $20 but there are several parking options. Below is the website with parking pricing and directions: https://www.mlb.com/royals/ballpark/transportation
Kids are welcome at Boulevard Brewery and the Royals game. Kids are not permitted at Funky Town (must be 21 and older).
Our events do not include any plus ones. We are blessed to have a close community of friends and family, everyone invited knows at least one other person :)
We will update the website with information related to Covid precautions as decided by us and/or the venues. This will include information pertaining to wearing masks, potential reschedule, etc. As of now, we/the venues are not requiring guests to wear masks or show proof of vaccination.
There is not an after party following the engagement party. Instead, we would love to see you at the events earlier in the weekend!
There will not be a virtual option but if you are unable to make it, it just gives us an excuse to get together in the future!
Anna may be changing her last name to Kirkpatrick but she’s still a Brand at heart... Yes, absolutely there will be an open bar at the engagement party at Boulevard Brewery. The open bar includes beer, house wine (red and white), and one flavor of Quirk seltzer.
Boulevard Brewery: We want you to be comfortable but after a few years of canceled events, we would love for you to dress up with us! And if you know Anna- there will be tons of pictures taken tonight! Optional events: Funky Town: Your funkiest outfit is encouraged. Most people wear 60s-70s attire. We’ve posted some pictures of our previous Funky Town outfits on the “Photos” tab. Funky Town does have a dress code on their website: www.funkytownkc.com Royals game: Royals attire encouraged but not required!
