FAQs

If you have any questions that are not listed here, please reach out by email to thekingyoungmashup@gmail.com Thank you!
Question

Can I stay at the Campground/Venue

Answer

HCCC has given Brian and I permission to use the grounds for the weekend. With this being said, you may stay on the grounds with the understanding that you will be responsible for cleaning up your site before you leave and will take all trash you produce with you. There is not a dumpster on site. Leave the grounds looking better than you found them. Thank you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate children unless they are named on the invitation. To those who will be bringing children, be advised that uncensored music will be played at times during the reception.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable—we want you there to celebrate! Remember that the wedding is in October at a campground with no buildings. The reception will be under a tent. Please feel free to have some more comfortable clothes to change into as the evening gets colder. Casual/Lounge wear is encouraged for our bonfire after-party.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only names listed on the invitation or if your invitation states you have a plus one.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is September 2, 2025. You are welcome to RSVP as soon as you get the invitation, but please, no later than September 2nd. We will be notifying our vendors of our final count. If you RSVP after this date, please plan to bring your own chair and a sandwich.

Question

What colors should I wear/avoid?

Answer

We would love to see our guests consider wearing attire in our wedding colors: Butterscotch yellow, Emerald green, Burgundy, Paprika orange, or Desert rose. We respectfully ask that you refrain from wearing white, ivory, or blush, as these colors are traditionally reserved for the bride. Thank you for your understanding

Question

Will there be a bar at the wedding?

Answer

A bar will not be provided, so please feel free to bring your own alcohol, but guests will be responsible for keeping track of and managing their own beverages throughout the event. Thanks for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy/diet, can I make a special request?

Answer

You absolutely can! Please make us aware as soon as possible so we can let our caterer know

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have designated parking at the campground and will allow those who need to, to park closer.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm, so please plan to arrive by 3:45 pm.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your Presence is the Only Gift We Need We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding day with all of you! As we start our life together, we’re lucky to already have everything we need for our home. If you’d like to give a gift, we would be grateful for a contribution to our Newlywed fund. Your generosity will help us create unforgettable memories as we begin this new chapter together. Of course, your presence at our wedding is what matters most to us. Thank you for your love and support—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Where do I park when I arrive?

Answer

We will have some designated locations for parking, but please note that it is first-come, first-served. We recommend arriving early, as later arrivals may need to park a little farther away and walk to the ceremony area. There will be no shuttle or transportation provided, so please plan accordingly and wear comfortable shoes if needed!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my dog/pet?

Answer

As much as we love your furry friends, we ask that you leave pets at home unless previously arranged.

Question

Can I help with setup/cleanup?

Answer

We truly appreciate the spirit of community! If you're interested in helping with setup or cleanup, please get in touch with Brian or Jeanna —we’d be so grateful.

Question

How do I find the campground for the wedding?

Answer

The address will be listed with each event once RSVPs open on the website. We recommend using Google Maps, as it's the most accurate and will take you to the correct driveway. Just follow the long dirt road marked with our wedding signs. Other apps may take you to the wrong address.
