The closest airport is Salvador International Airport (SSA), officially named Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport. We recommend flying into Salvador (SSA). From the U.S., you can typically connect through: Miami (MIA) – Direct flights available via American Airlines New York/New Jersey (JFK or EWR) – Flights available with layovers in São Paulo (GRU), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), or other major hubs São Paulo (GRU) or Rio de Janeiro (GIG) – Then take a short domestic flight to Salvador Depending on your departure city, you may have one or two connections, but once you land in Salvador, the venue is just about 45 minutes by car. We recommend flying into Salvador (SSA).
