La Aurora International Airport (GUA) is approximately 25 miles from Antigua, about 45 min - 1hr drive. Shuttle Service- Shared shuttle services run frequently between the airport and Antigua throughout the day, dropping you directly in the city center. Comfortable, easy, and approximately $15–20 USD per person each way. Your hotel can help arrange a return shuttle at the end of your stay. Private Transfer- For a door-to-door experience - ideal for groups or those traveling with a lot of luggage - private transfers can be arranged through your hotel or online and typically run $50–80 USD depending on vehicle size. Rideshare- Uber operates at the airport and is a reliable, affordable option for getting to Antigua and around the city. Uber also offers a motorbike option, where you ride on the back of a local driver's motorcycle. Taxis and tuk-tuks are also available, and we recommend carrying some cash for these options.
