Having a rum punch & steamers on the deck of Barnacle Billy's truly is a wonderful Ogunquit activity! We highly recommend for drinks, snacks & ambiance, then head to another suggested location for dinner, or take a stroll around Perkins Cove to explore.
There's loads of ways to enjoy Ogunquit Beaches, but here are our favorites: -if it's unseasonably warm, grab an inner tube and float down the river side! Or just roll up your pants at low tide to walk across the sandbars and explore (keep an eye on the tides, though!) -take a trolly up to the footbridge for picturesque sand dunes and then walk south back along the beach to the main lot - pack up a picnic at sunset and sit on the riverside to be both at the ocean & facing west- a combo that's not typical for the east coast!
Our favorite spot for breakfast in town has to be Cove Cafe! At the very beginning of the courtship, Adam used to come visit me when I worked there and we would flirt over the smells of fresh coffee & blueberry pancakes. It will forever be special to us, plus, it's delicious!
If you stop at Mt Agamenticus, be sure to pop into to Flos for lunch. Famous roadside hotdog shack that's as no-frills as it gets. Be sure to order quickly, and with no substitutions/modifications in order to stay on Gail's good side! We recommend the classic Flo dog paired with a can of Moxie for the full experience
If you're looking for an activity on Sunday before the ceremony, our favorite local farmer's market is down in Kittery! Amazing vendors and vibes, often with some local live music. Take the scenic way back to Ogunquit all through Kittery Point and up Shore Road for a truly stunning coastal drive.
